The Qingming holiday overlaps with Hong Kong public holidays, and passenger flow at Shenzhen Port will reach a record high today and tomorrow.

People’s Finance News, April 3 — According to a report by the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, the Qingming holiday is approaching. In mainland China, the Qingming holiday runs from April 4 to April 6, and in Hong Kong, public holidays are from April 3 to April 7. Due to multiple factors such as returning home to pay respects to ancestors, praying for blessings and good health, visiting relatives, and outdoor outings to enjoy spring scenery, the Shenzhen deep port border crossings are expected to experience a peak in passenger flow. The Shenzhen border inspection headquarters predicts that the average daily passenger flow during the Qingming holiday will reach 990,000 people, with the peak occurring on April 3 and 4, potentially surpassing historical records, with a single-day peak exceeding 1.13 million people.
