CoinWorld.net April 2 News, according to BeInCrypto reports, a survey conducted by Tokyo consulting firm Clabo in February 2026 with 1,486 Japanese respondents shows that Japan's Generation Z is much more cautious about social media scams in the cryptocurrency space compared to other generations. Fake giveaways and suspicious promotions are their main concerns; older groups are more skeptical due to "not understanding how cryptocurrencies work." The survey also found that half of the respondents have never invested in cryptocurrencies, and only 33.7% currently hold digital assets, with Millennials showing the highest investment participation. In terms of information sources, YouTube accounts for 27% and is the preferred platform for Japanese users to make crypto investment decisions.
