Things are moving pretty quickly here in Singapore. WeRide and Grab officially launched their autonomous taxi service Ai.R in the Punggol area a couple of days ago, and I heard it is Singapore’s first publicly operated autonomous driving service. Now community members can experience it directly, and it feels like autonomous driving has gone from concept to something practically usable. City-states like Singapore are really suitable for pilot programs like this—regulations are clear, and road conditions are good. I wonder when similar public services will be available domestically. Has anyone tried it yet?
