Overseas revenue accounts for nearly 60%, Zoomlion's net profit increased by 38% year-on-year in the past year | Financial report analysis
Ask AI · How does Zoomlion’s global localization strategy drive record-breaking growth in overseas revenue?
Caixin Media, March 30 (Reporter Huang Lu) Overseas revenue’s share continues to rise. Zoomlion (000157.SZ) saw last year’s net profit increase by nearly 40% year over year.
Tonight, Zoomlion has released its 2025 annual report. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB 52.107 billion, up 14.58% year over year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was RMB 4.858 billion, up 38.01% year over year.
By business segment, its revenue share for lifting machinery, concrete machinery, and earthmoving machinery ranks among the top three. Year over year, they increased by 12.52%, 25.5%, and 44.99%, respectively. In addition, the company is accelerating expansion into the global high-end mining market. Overseas sales revenue for mining machinery increased by more than 3 times year over year.
In 2025, the company’s overseas income reached RMB 30.515 billion, up 30.52% year over year. Its revenue share climbed to 58.56%. Nearly 60% of revenue comes from overseas markets, setting a record high. At the same time, the company’s selling expense increased by 21.94% year over year, mainly due to higher costs related to sales in overseas markets.
By overseas market regions, the company’s sales in emerging regions such as Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East achieved relatively faster growth. Taking the earthmoving machinery segment, which had the highest growth rate in 2025, as an example, the annual report states that earthmoving machinery has expanded in emerging regions such as Latin America by building a product matrix covering full scenarios, with growth of over 77%. In high-end markets such as Europe, growth broke through 600%.
The financial report shows that the company is vigorously building a global localized supply chain system. Currently, the company has cumulatively built more than 30 first-tier business air cargo ports worldwide and more than 430 second- and third-tier outlets. The company has moved outlet construction from regional hubs down to major cities. The total number of overseas localized employees worldwide is about 6,000. It operates more than 220 spare-parts warehouses, and its products cover over 170 countries and regions.
An executive from Zoomlion told Caixin Media reporters that the company’s overseas manufacturing bases achieve full-category product coverage and continuously increase the density of market outlets in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and other regions. The company has more than 10 overseas production bases in countries including Italy, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, the United States, Hungary, and India, and—together with its direct sales network—enables “rapid delivery + customized retrofits.”
Worth noting is that as of the end of 2025, Zoomlion has cumulatively developed prototype products for four categories and eight humanoid intelligent robots, completing initial verification in logistics sorting scenarios. Its hydrogen energy products have broken through 14 key technologies, with 7 new products rolling off the line. Hydrogen compressors have already achieved sales.
