People’s Finance Network, April 1: In early trading on April 1, spot gold broke through $4,700 per ounce. As of the time of writing, its intraday high reached $4,724.260 per ounce. This morning, multiple jewelry brands sharply raised their prices; most rose to above 1,400 yuan per gram. Chow Tai Fook, Lao Miao Gold, and Zhou Dasheng fine gold jewelry were quoted at 1,445 yuan per gram, up about 50 yuan from the previous day; Chow Sang Sang fine gold jewelry was quoted at 1,447 yuan per gram, up about 47 yuan from the previous day; Laofengxiang fine gold jewelry was quoted at 1,448 yuan per gram, up about 40 yuan from the previous day.
