Private placement securities product filings in February saw explosive growth in the market. Data from Privately Placed Securities (PP) Rank & Queue shows that, as of February 28, 2025, across the entire market in February there were 722 private placement institutions in total, with 1,366 privately placed securities products filed, compared with 543 products in February 2025—a year-over-year increase of 151.57%. Compared with 680 products in January 2026, it was a month-over-month increase of 100.88%. Both year-over-year and month-over-month more than doubled, and filing enthusiasm was significantly boosted. In addition, the sharp surge in filing volume in February was achieved against the backdrop of fewer business days caused by the Spring Festival holiday, which further highlights the industry’s strong deployment intentions and overall vitality. From the perspective of the filing product strategy mix, equity strategies take the lead and have become the core direction for private placement institutions to deploy. Data from PP Rank & Queue shows that in February, the number of equity strategy products filed reached 900, accounting for 65.89% of the total filing volume, far exceeding other strategies.
