I just came across an interesting on-chain data point. A big whale has been quite active on HYPE recently. This whale investor, loracle.hl, has increased their long position on HYPE to over 190,000 tokens, which is roughly over 7 million RMB. It seems they are quite optimistic about this project.
Interestingly, although this whale has made a huge profit on HYPE, with total gains exceeding 23 million, they also lost quite a bit on their short positions on CL, with unrealized losses over 600,000. Overall, this whale's operations have been quite successful, which is why everyone likes to track these big whales’ movements — every step they take could reflect some market signals.
