I just discovered that in Mexico City you can now pay your water bill without waiting in line. Download the CDMX App, go to 'Water Payment' in Segiagua, register your service, and you're all set. Add your debit or credit card and confirm the payment. Download the receipt and you're done.

What I didn't know is that the app is useful for much more. You can pay property taxes, vehicle ownership taxes, payroll taxes, and traffic fines. Your documents are also there: driver's license, vehicle registration, RUAC card. All digital.

The app is available on Android and iOS. Honestly, the digitalization efforts in Mexico City are going pretty well. It used to be a hassle to handle these procedures, now you can do it all from your phone. If you haven't downloaded it yet, it's really worth having it on hand to pay anything in the capital.
