Citibank: Expecting the average price of Brent crude oil in Q2 to reach $130 per barrel in a bullish scenario

Odaily Planet Daily News: Citigroup said it expects the average Brent crude oil price in the second quarter of 2026 to be $95 per barrel under the base-case scenario; under the bullish scenario, it would be $130 per barrel. It expects a potential shortfall in global oil supply of 4.4 million barrels per day; if some Gulf countries refuse to agree to Iran’s so-called “transit fees,” the shortfall could be 8 million barrels per day.
