This week, the international palm oil CNF quotes have risen sharply, and China’s palm oil import costs have increased significantly. On March 11, the CNF import prices for 24° palm oil for the March and April shipping periods were $1187/ton and $1178/ton, respectively, up by $65–$81/ton compared to the same period last week; when converted to the duty-paid cost upon arrival in South China, they were 9,790 yuan/ton and 9,710 yuan/ton, respectively, an increase of 610–730 yuan/ton compared to the same period last week.
