I just found out that in Edomex, the deadline to verify if you had a yellow sticker and plates 5 or 6 has already passed. February 28 was the deadline, and if you didn't do it, you face a fine of 3,394 pesos. So if you still don't know when to verify in Edomex, it's better to hurry because each day of delay adds more costs.

Now it's the turn for those with the pink sticker (plates 7 and 8) before March 31. The thing is, it's no joke: in addition to the late fee, you have to pay for the verification and any pending debts. The costs vary depending on the type of hologram, from 469 pesos up to 1,196 pesos.

What I recommend is that you book your appointment in advance. Verification centers are open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays until 3 p.m. Bring your registration card, the last verification, and the invoice if it's a new vehicle. Better not to wait until the last day because there's always congestion.
