UAE Will 'Remain Steadfast' Despite Uncertainties, Says Sheikh Nahyan
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan says the UAE has the strength and resilience to meet any challenge with confidence, discipline, and resolve

The UAE will“remain steadfast” and meet challenges with confidence, discipline and resolve, a UAE minister said.
The remarks come amid a regional war, in which several GCC and Arab states have been embroiled in after US-Israeli strikes targeted Iran more than a month ago.

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, said that whatever pressure and uncertainty the country faces, it will remain“steadfast, capable, and forward-looking,” adding that“this is the strength and resilience of the UAE.”

He was speaking at the Samena Leaders’ Summit, which took place on Wednesday at Atlantis the Palm.
“Our vision is clear. Our leadership is wise. Our people are committed to peace and justice,” he said.“We will continue to protect our region and preserve peace under the guidance of (the President). The UAE is intent on pursuing a path of peace that saves lives.”
Several top figures have echoed the sentiment, with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, more recently writing on X how the country will emerge even stronger despite current challenges.“Proud of our people, proud of all residents on our land, and proud of our development model built on competitiveness, flexibility, openness, and strength in facing different conditions,” he wrote.
The comments come as the UAE continues to respond to a series of attacks. The country has ramped up its air defence systems and emergency response measures in recent weeks.
It has thus far dealt with 2012 drones (or UAVs), 19 cruise missiles, and 438 ballistic missiles as Iranian aggression continues to strike the UAE and other Gulf countries. A total of 12 people have died due to Iranian hostilities, including two armed forces members and a civilian contractor, and has resulted in 190 injuries.
