U.S. crude oil opens more than 1% lower

Each day, AI Express. In the early Asian trading session on Friday, WTI crude oil fell 1.31%, to $98.806 per barrel. U.S. stock index futures were mixed: Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 0.01%, S&P 500 index futures fell 0.03%, and Nasdaq 100 index futures fell 0.07%. Gold prices opened slightly higher, while silver opened lower. Spot gold rose 0.04%, to $4,759.83 per ounce; spot silver fell 0.15%, to $74.96 per ounce.
