Japan's 40-year government bond yield falls 12 basis points to 3.795%

Japan’s ultra-long-term government bond yields fell, and U.S. President Trump had previously said he expected the United States to end its war with Iran within two to three weeks.

In addition, the Bank of Japan kept its plan to purchase government bonds with maturities of 25 years and longer unchanged.

The 40-year government bond yield fell 12 basis points to 3.795%, the 30-year yield fell 9.5 basis points to 3.62%, and the 20-year yield fell 7.5 basis points to 3.205%.
