Abstract generation in progress

U.S. President Donald Trump informed the nation of the latest developments in the war between the United States and Israel against Iran. In his remarks, Trump said he believes the war is about to end, adding that he expects it to last two to three weeks, and vowed that there will be “extremely severe” strikes in the coming weeks.

Trump said the United States is about to end its military actions against Iran. “Tonight, I’m pleased to announce that our core strategic objectives are nearing completion.” He said that either an agreement with Iran will be reached within two to three weeks, or its infrastructure will be bombed.

Trump said that in the four weeks since the United States launched “Operation Epic Fury,” the armed forces have achieved “rapid, decisive, and overwhelming victories on the battlefield—victories that very few have ever seen.”

He said that, because of the progress we’ve made, tonight I can announce that we are moving forward as planned, and we will soon complete all of the United States’ military objectives. We will strike them hard.

Over the next two to three weeks, we will take them back to the Stone Age they belong to.

Fighting while talking—negotiations are still ongoing

He also said that diplomatic efforts will continue, adding that “at the same time, negotiations are still ongoing,” but if an agreement cannot be reached with Iran, they will be hit viciously—every one of their power plants—and very likely at the same time. He said that if no agreement is reached within two to three weeks, the United States will carry out this threat, and added that “we may strike” their oil.

Trump said that tonight, Iran’s navy no longer exists. Their air force lies in ruins. Their leadership—most of whom are terrorists—and the regime they lead have now been overthrown.

As we speak, their command and control of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is being thoroughly destroyed. Their ability to launch missiles and drones has dropped significantly. Their weapon factories and rocket launch sites are being blown into pieces. They have almost nothing left.

Trump said the war against Iran has nothing to do with oil. He said we are now fully independent of the Middle East, but we are still there to help. We don’t have to stay there. We don’t need their oil. We don’t need anything they have. We are there to help our allies.

Trump said we have completely destroyed those nuclear facilities. After that, the regime tried to rebuild its nuclear program at entirely different locations, which clearly shows they have no intention of giving up the development of nuclear weapons. He said we are systematically dismantling that regime’s ability to threaten the United States or project power abroad.

Trump accused Iran of driving up U.S. gasoline prices. Many Americans are worried about the recent rise in domestic gasoline prices. This short-term increase is entirely the result of the Iranian regime’s frantic terrorist attacks on commercial oil tankers and on neighboring countries unrelated to the conflict.

He said that, essentially, I did things that no other president would do. They made mistakes, and I am correcting those mistakes.

If he had not ended the nuclear deal with Iran reached by the previous president, Obama, there wouldn’t have been “the Middle East and Israel.”

“When all of this is over, the United States will be safer, stronger, richer, and greater than ever before”
