Shenzhen's total online signing of new and second-hand residential properties in March reached 7,898 units, the highest in nearly 11 months.

Gelonghui April 1|According to data disclosed today by the Leyaohome Research Center, in March 2026 the total contracted sales volume for first- and second-hand residential properties in Shenzhen was 7,898 units, an increase of 117% month over month, and the highest figure in the past 11 months. Of this, the city’s contracted pre-sale sales for first-hand residential properties were 1,571 units, up 109% month over month; contracted sales for existing units were 1,256 units, up 130% month over month. Combined, contracted sales totaled 2,827 units, up 118% month over month. Contracted sales for second-hand residential properties were 5,071 units, up 117% month over month, and have continued to remain stable at the 5,000-unit “boom-bust line” level for the Shenzhen real estate market.
