I've been trying out various friend-making apps recently, and I didn't realize there are so many types of matching apps. Many of them are women-only for safety reasons, but for men, options like Bumble's BFF mode or Tinder seem to be popular choices.

Favomatch and Touch are great for connecting through hobbies or fan activities, making them good for finding friends with common interests. Dotomatch also allows searching on weekends, which makes it easier to coordinate plans. However, if an app doesn't have 24-hour monitoring, I'm a bit worried about how they'll handle emergencies, so it's worth checking that.

For people in their 30s and 40s, Somli seems to be specialized, and if you're looking for golf buddies, there are niche matching apps like GolWho. Ultimately, choosing an app that fits your goals and age group is probably the most important. Which apps are you all using?
