Morning Review: Shanghai Composite Index rises 1.36%, innovative medicine and photovoltaic concept stocks strengthen

People’s Finance Network April 1 report: Earlier today in the morning session, the three major indexes opened higher, then maintained choppy trading. By the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index was up 1.36%, the Shenzhen Component Index was up 1.2%, and the ChiNext Price Index was up 1.18%. On the trading front, the innovative drugs concept surged into a wave of daily limit-up moves. Guangshengtang and RuiZhi Pharmaceutical hit the 20% daily limit up. The photovoltaic concept stocks were active, with Laplace hitting the 20% daily limit up. The chip concept strengthened, with Minpu Optics and Magnetics and others hitting daily limit up. In addition, sectors such as CPO, hotels and catering, transportation services, and construction machinery were among the leaders in gains; sectors such as transportation equipment, power, and seed industry were among the leaders in declines. The total half-day trading value across the market exceeded 1.3 trillion yuan.
