Abstract generation in progress

On March 25, the State Administration for Market Regulation released a notice. In conjunction with the Ministry of Education, the Administration has drafted the “Supervision and Administration Provisions on Kindergartens Fulfilling Their Food Safety Main Responsibilities (Draft for Public Comment),” and is publicly soliciting comments. The draft for public comment consists of 32 articles. It implements the food-safety requirements of the “four strictest” measures, specifies that kindergartens’ food safety is governed under a president/principal-responsibility system, requires the appointment of a food safety director and safety officers, implements a system and mechanism of “daily risk control, weekly inspections, and monthly coordination and dispatch,” and, based on the food-safety risk characteristics of kindergartens, sets out responsibility requirements for key areas such as the selection of meal-delivery models, procurement and acceptance of ingredients, control of food processing and preparation processes, restrictions on high-risk foods, and the cleaning and disinfection of food service utensils.
