National Energy Administration: By the end of February, the country's total installed power generation capacity reached 3.95 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 15.9%.

The National Energy Administration released national power statistics for January to February 2026. As of the end of February, the nationwide cumulative installed power generation capacity was 3.95 billion kW, up 15.9%. Of this, solar power installed capacity was 1.23 billion kW, up 33.2%; and wind power installed capacity was 0.65 billion kW, up 22.8%. In January to February, the nationwide average cumulative utilization of power generation equipment was 466 hours, which was 39 hours lower than the same period last year.
