I just watched Fátima's video at Harvard responding to a woman who asked her to resign from Miss Universe, and honestly I loved her response. The woman told her why she doesn't give up the crown, and Fátima replied that she worked hard for that crown, it wasn't given to her. The best part was when she pointed out that no one asks men those kinds of questions when they achieve something important, only women.

The truth is that Fátima has done things that no Miss Universe has done before, she herself said so. She took off her heels, went to communities, delivered medicines to towns where others didn't want to go. She is the first neurodivergent Miss Universe, and that’s an important change in the pageant’s narrative. Of course, there was controversy surrounding her win, we all know that, but hearing her defend her work so straightforwardly was pretty impressive.

I also liked her final reflection on envy and success. She said something like, "Be so impeccable with your actions that when someone wants to bother you, they only have to lie." Fátima definitely isn’t going to let herself be intimidated by criticism.
