Xiamen–Kinmen "Mini Three Links" route surpasses 24 million inbound and outbound travelers

People’s Finance News, April 1—As of 10:00 a.m. today, the Kinmen–Xiamen “mini direct mail link” (small three-links) route, which has been in operation since January 2, 2001, has developed over 25 years and has surpassed 24 million passenger entries and exits. Of that, a growth in the million-plus range of 23 million to 24 million was achieved in just half a year, setting a record for the fastest pace in history. As the “golden channel” for exchanges and interactions between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, the Kinmen–Xiamen “small three-links” route has witnessed the historic leap in cross-strait personnel exchanges from “breaking the ice” to becoming “warm and bustling,” and it is one of the most active and convenient channels for communication between the two sides.
