On April 2, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement on the night of April 1, announcing that over the past two days, they had conducted airstrikes on approximately 400 targets in Iran. The statement indicated that the IDF targeted around 15 weapon manufacturing bases in Iran, including a central complex belonging to the Iranian Ministry of Defense. This complex houses missile production and research and development facilities. Additionally, the IDF struck Iranian air defense systems, launch sites, and missile storage facilities. According to Israeli media reports, Iran launched about 10 ballistic missiles at Israel on the afternoon of April 1. The IDF stated that most of the incoming missiles were intercepted by air defense systems, and there have been no reports of casualties.
