The head of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Zhang Yuzhuo, said on March 5 at the first “Ministerial Corridor” session of the 14th National People’s Congress’s fourth session that over the past three years, central state-owned enterprises cumulatively completed investment in strategic emerging industries totaling 7.4 trillion yuan, accounting for an increased share of 42% of total investment. Last year, revenues from strategic emerging industries exceeded 12 trillion yuan, leading to the formation of five industries with trillion-yuan scale. (Xinhua)
