So I saw that Stani Kulechov, the guy behind Aave, just dropped $30 million on a mansion in Notting Hill, London. It’s quite a flex when you consider the protocol manages $50 billion in assets. But here’s the thing, meanwhile, the Aave ecosystem is experiencing some internal friction. Tensions over brand governance, contested votes, $5 million in fees for integrating CoW Swap that are causing some controversy... Kulechov is trying to promote the UK as the next crypto hub, but clearly there’s some friction on his end. It’s interesting to see how he’s diversifying while the community wonders if everything’s okay at Aave Labs. In any case, Stani Kulechov seems confident about the future of DeFi, given his big investments in real estate. Question: do you think the tensions will calm down or is this just the beginning?
