I came across an intriguing story. According to an FBI report, just six days after Epstein died at a correctional facility in New York in 2019, there are records indicating that the Federal Bureau of Prisons response team was shredding a large amount of documents inside the facility.
According to the details of the report, a correctional officer witnessed a series of shredded document bags being carried out near the back gate of the Metropolitan Correctional Center and reported it to FBI personnel. This was happening even though an investigation was already underway at the time.
What’s noteworthy is that at least several inmates were mobilized to assist with the document transportation. They were reportedly made to carry four or five bags of shredded paper. The team leaders apparently instructed them, “Make sure to take that box as well.”
Even more interesting is what happened afterward. Reports suggest that, under the Trump administration, the Department of Justice ordered New York City police investigators to cease related criminal investigations just five days after Epstein’s death. Additionally, they reportedly requested a halt to an independent investigation into Epstein’s property in Zorro Ranch, New Mexico.
Are these actions just routine procedures, or was there some other motive? The sequence of大量の document destruction inside the correctional center followed by the immediate suspension of investigations naturally raises questions. Many people are likely to be suspicious. As a historical event, this part of the record could prove significant in future examinations.
