Korea's February duty-free shop sales decline

On March 31, the Korea Duty-Free Shops Association released data showing that in February this year, duty-free shop sales amounted to 962.4 billion KRW (approximately 44 billion RMB), a decrease of 10.1% month-on-month and a 3.8% decline year-on-year, indicating an overall downward trend. Among them, sales to foreign consumers totaled 704.7 billion KRW, down 7.7% year-on-year and 10.4% month-on-month. During the same period, sales to domestic consumers reached 257.6 billion KRW, an increase of 8.7% year-on-year.

Of this, sales to foreign consumers were 704.7 billion won, down 7.7% year-over-year and 10.4% lower month-over-month. During the same period, sales to domestic consumers were 257.6 billion won, up 8.7% year-over-year.
