In terms of news, recently, China used the Long March 2C launch vehicle / the YZ-1 upper stage at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center to successfully launch Experimental Satellite No. 33. The satellite entered its planned orbit smoothly, and the launch mission was a complete success. This was the third Long 2C launch in 2026 and also China’s 16th successful launch this year.
Caitong Securities said that China’s commercial space industry is in a critical transition stage from the technology validation period to commercialization and large-scale development, and is accelerating its integration into the strategic emerging industry layout defined in the country’s “14th Five-Year Plan.” SpaceX’s mature global leading position in reusable rockets and low-Earth-orbit constellation deployments has also prompted domestic players to speed up efforts to catch up. At present, domestic technological breakthroughs and system construction are being simultaneously accelerated: the Long March 12A and ZQ-3 have completed their maiden flights, indicating that reusable rockets have entered the validation stage.
