Uzbekistan, KOICA Move To Renew Partnership Framework Through 2028
(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ** TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 1**. The Uzbek government and the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) have started working on a new partnership memorandum that will last until 2028, Trend reports via the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.
The initiative was discussed during a working group visit to Seoul led by Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade Ilzat Kasimov, who held meetings with KOICA leadership.
During the visit, Kasimov also held official talks with South Korea’s Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy Park Chun-sung. The sides discussed prospects for expanding bilateral trade, as well as deepening economic and investment cooperation.
KOICA, a government agency of South Korea, provides technical assistance and implements grant-based projects in developing countries, contributing to sustainable development and international cooperation.
