This week, Canadian canola crush margins declined.

This week, Canada’s rapeseed import cost fell slightly. Driven by the global oil price pullback and market expectations that Brazil’s soybean shipments will resume, domestic rapeseed meal and rapeseed oil futures prices weakened significantly, and Canada’s rapeseed crushing profit on the futures market declined. On March 26, using a 14.9% tax rate, the Canada rapeseed crushing profit on the May shipment futures contract was 79 yuan/ton, down 41 yuan/ton from the same period last week.
