Mainland media reports that at the Lenovo Group (00992) fiscal year 2026/27 kickoff meeting, Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, announced that Lenovo will fully transform into an AI-native company, “AI is not an add-on, not an extra layer, and not something to be appended afterwards,” and instructed that from product design to business processes, everything must be rebuilt with artificial intelligence at the core.

Yang Yuanqing defined the new fiscal year as the year of “AI delivery.” The goal is to deliver personal intelligence and enterprise intelligence products to customers, improve the ecosystem, and establish Lenovo’s leading position in the field of hybrid artificial intelligence.

Yang Yuanqing said that devices equipped with Lenovo Qira will begin global shipments this month, and the Tianqi personal super agent will also complete its next round of iteration.
