Abstract generation in progress

The Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association Cui Dongshu said in a statement that the transition of the energy structure is the core path for our country to achieve its “dual carbon” goals and ensure energy security, and the electrification transformation in the commercial vehicle sector has become a key leverage point for reshaping the energy landscape. As the main force in logistics and transportation, the core carrier of diesel consumption, and the taxpayer subject for fuel consumption taxes, the electrification transition of heavy-duty trucks is by no means a mere upgrade and iteration within a single industry, but rather a deep remolding of our country’s overall energy system from dimensions such as energy consumption, safety assurance, and supply-demand balance. The rise of pure-electric heavy-duty trucks is driving China’s energy landscape from traditional oil dependence toward a diversified, balanced model led by electricity, and has become a core force behind the transition of the energy system. At the same time, changes to the tax system for transportation infrastructure construction are also an important driver.
