Russia says it will continue to make efforts to resolve the issue of oil supply to Cuba.
People’s Finance and News March 30—On March 30, Russian President’s press secretary Peskov said Russia will not ignore the energy shortage situation in Cuba and will continue to make efforts to address its oil supply problems. Peskov said the Russian side believes it has an obligation to “provide the necessary assistance to our friends in Cuba,” and Cuba needs energy to keep the country’s basic operations running. Peskov said the Russian side had previously discussed with the U.S. the possibility of providing humanitarian oil to Cuba, and the Russian side is pleased that this batch of oil products has arrived in Cuba.
