Spain announces closure of airspace to military aircraft involved in the US-Iran conflict

On March 30 local time, the Spanish government announced that, effective immediately, it would close its airspace to all military and related support aircraft involved in the China-Iran conflict. The decision was issued by Prime Minister Sánchez of Spain after an emergency cabinet meeting. According to a statement released by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the scope of this airspace closure covers all foreign military crews that carry out bombing, reconnaissance, aerial refueling, and the transport of war materiel.
