April 1 morning session, the market rebounded. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.36% in the first half of the day, and the total trading value across the whole market exceeded 1.3 trillion yuan for the first half of the day. In terms of sector themes, the innovative drugs, components, and photovoltaic equipment sectors were among the leaders in gains, while the rail transit equipment sector led the declines. In Hong Kong equities, the market rebounded; the innovative drugs sector moved higher in a one-way rally, and the technology and brokerage sectors followed the trend.

By the midday close, the CSI A500 Index rose 1.5%, the CSI 300 Index rose 1.4%, the ChiNext Index rose 1.2%, the SSE STAR 50 Index rose 3%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 1.6%.
