Full position in Pingtan Development, massive losses and unable to move!

Abstract generation in progress
  1. Yesterday, Pingtan Development sold off in the morning and missed the move; in the afternoon, it instantly blew up, hit the daily limit, and was quickly bought back! On the Top Stocks list, the Leisure Group locked over 400 million in capital and didn’t move. Regarding Pingtan Development’s “Strait concept,” in some aspects it followed the commercial aerospace sector—while commercial aerospace involves innovative drugs and weight-loss drugs. After crowding in, the extension crowding in plus various news catalysts drove it; and once the index surged sharply, it was very likely to be differentiated and adjusted. When the index falls, capital will continue to flow back! Looking at how the Leisure Group has positioned multiple varieties within commercial aerospace, Pingtan Development today chose to lock the position and not move. The result was a market output of many “nuclear button” orders against it. On the commercial aerospace side, today also saw a major retreat. Shenjian Co. still has strong bullish funds—let’s see if there’s a chance for a limit-up at the close. If it doesn’t hit limit-up, then it’s a big drop. Shunshang Co., Ltd., and Jvli Suoju—these basically have no real premium!

  2. Last night, US tech stocks surged violently. Nvidia, Tesla, SanDisk, and Micron all soared. Nvidia’s focus on silicon photonics naturally benefits optical modules. When tech stocks rise, storage stocks also benefit. I guessed the beginning but not the end. Many times, tech stocks open high and then decline—like “nuclear button” trades—with only a few that open high and continue to rise. Most are high-open and then cash out. Today’s core stocks—like Demingli and 3i Weier Storage—were caught in another big trap; it was brutal. But stocks like Cambrian, Tianfu Communications, and Hygon Information rose quite well. In the morning, many core stocks were also very strong. For example, Oriel, involved in quantitative trading, reversed and quickly hit the limit-up; Mingtph Optics & Magnetics hit the limit-up in seconds; and Meili Cloud also quickly hit the limit-up. With the dual attributes, Jiuan Medical also reversed and hit the limit-up—top-tier “big bull” stocks! I personally like these a lot!

  3. Additionally, innovative drugs, weight-loss drugs, and generic drugs continued to surge, maintaining the sector’s top position in gains. After Mienvory showed ultra-high profitability, Wanbangde continued to generate profits, leading Tianjin Pharmaceutical, Lianhuan Pharmaceutical, Kailai Xin, and others to keep hitting the limit-up. Mienvory also made a big move, possibly pulling back in the afternoon. In the short term, the pharmaceutical sector remains very strong!

  4. Overall, high-plate and follow-up trades remain somewhat pessimistic. In a market dominated by quant strategies, even slight missteps trigger “nuclear button” orders. Top industry chain experts’ picks—such as Guosheng Technology—continued to hit the limit-up, and Farsai also showed strength! He who gains popularity wins the world. In the morning, Pingtan Development didn’t move. Considering the Leisure Group’s over 400 million in holdings, I decided to hold a bit longer. I was actually considering positions in Oriel, Jiuan Medical, Mingtph Optics & Magnetics, and Demingli, among others. But since I had no positions in the morning, I didn’t act. I just watched Pingtan Development, looking for an exit opportunity. Before the market closed in the afternoon, I expect to exit—maybe it will rise again tomorrow. But as a trader, I don’t want to wait. Once this addictive pattern forms, the underlying assets you hold are very likely to face losses, so I prefer to wait for the right exit opportunity!
