So the backstory is he lost money in the Bitconnect collapse back in 2018, you know that infamous scam. Instead of just taking the L, Shailesh Bhatt decided to go full criminal mode and kidnap two employees to get his money back. ED seized 442 crores worth of his assets - properties, gold, the whole thing. He distributed like 289 crores to his accomplices too.
