People’s Finance and News, March 30—Because a malfunction was discovered, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) again suspended the first flight test of the reusable rocket small experimental vehicle RV-X, originally scheduled to take place this morning (March 30). According to several Japanese media outlets, after staff disconnected the fuel-injection pipeline before the test flight, they found that the device used to separate the pipeline from the rocket body did not operate properly. JAXA therefore decided to cancel that day’s flight test. This marks the fifth postponement of RV-X’s first flight test. RV-X is approximately 7.3 meters long and about 1.8 meters in diameter. It is equipped with an engine using liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen. The purpose of the test flight is to collect data for developing reusable rockets. (CCTV International News)
