Iranian President: To end the war, the other side must guarantee no further aggression
Golden Finance reports that on April 1, Iranian President Pezeshkzian said on March 31 that Iran has the “necessary willingness” to end the war, provided the other side meets Iran’s demands, especially by making the necessary guarantees of non-aggression. According to Iran’s Alborz News Agency, on that day Pezeshkzian, in a phone call with European Council President Costaon, said that the solution to normalize the situation is to stop the aggressive attacks by the United States and Israel. He reiterated that Iran, at any stage, has not sought to escalate tensions or go to war, and “has the necessary willingness to end this war.” Pezeshkzian pointed out that Iran entered negotiations with the United States with sincerity and a constructive attitude, but was subjected to an illegal attack in the middle of the negotiations. This issue shows that the United States does not believe in diplomacy, but is only “seeking to issue commands to realize its greedy ambitions.” (Xinhua News Agency)
