Russian Ambassador: The Supreme Leader of Iran is currently in Iran.

Golden Finance reported that on April 1, the Russian ambassador to Iran, Alexey Jeddov, stated in an interview with Russian media on March 31 that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is currently in Iran but is avoiding public appearances. TASS, citing Jeddov’s remarks, reported that, as Iran’s leadership has repeatedly stated, Mojtaba “is avoiding public appearances for obvious reasons.” Jeddov said he has not yet been able to contact Mojtaba. However, he emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin was one of the first foreign leaders to send a congratulatory message to Mojtaba. (Xinhua News Agency)
