Ark Invest, under Woodie's leadership, adds OpenAI shares to its series funds
ChainCatcher message, according to Bloomberg, Cathie Wood has added OpenAI to the ARKK, ARKF, and ARKW funds. It is understood that each fund will hold about 3% of the shares, allowing retail investors to directly invest in one of the world’s hottest private companies.
Ark Invest previously officially announced in 2024 that it holds OpenAI through its ARK Venture Fund (a private VC fund), and has increased its stake multiple times, including the $250 million added in October 2024.
