Against the backdrop of growing concerns over quantum computing, XRP Ledger (XRPL) is emerging as a leader in blockchain security. Google-supported research confirms that XRPL has deployed post-quantum ML-DSA signatures on its alphanet, making it one of the first blockchains actively implementing quantum-safe technology. The ledger launched this initiative last December, using Dilithium cryptography to secure transactions and proactively defend against future computational threats. Although Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong pointed out that quantum computing currently does not pose an immediate threat, XRPL's pioneering work sets a practical benchmark for long-term ecosystem resilience.
