Vanke Enterprise (02202) announced that as of the end of last year, it recorded a net loss of 88.556 billion yuan (RMB; same below) for the full year, with a loss per share of 7.45 yuan, and it will not distribute a final dividend; for the same period in 2024, it recorded a loss of 49.478 billion yuan.

During the period, revenue was 233.433 billion yuan, down 31.98% year on year.

The company said the main reasons for the loss were a significant decline in the settlement scale of real estate development projects, with the gross margin still remaining at a low level; due to an increase in business risk exposure, it newly recorded credit impairment provisions and asset impairment; an overall loss from some operating businesses after deducting depreciation and amortization, as well as losses from some non-core financial investments; and some transactions involving large-lot assets and equity transactions were priced below their book value.
