Abstract generation in progress

The Chief Executive in Council today approved the railway scheme for the Kai Tak Smart Green Collective Transport System. Wong Kwong-yiu, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Wheelock Properties, said that the Executive Council passed the transport scheme for the Kai Tak Smart Green Collective Transport System, which plans to provide six stations to connect the cruise terminal and the sports park, and is expected to commence service in 2031, which is set to drive an overall upgrade of supporting facilities in the area.

He added that PARK PENINSULA, which overlooks the sea on three sides and houses the Kai Tak Sports Park, which has been named Asia’s best sports venue, will also serve as an engine for “event-driven economy”; together with diversified advantages such as the cruise terminal, it is set to further unlock PARK PENINSULA’s potential. As the Group has multiple quality projects in the area, it will be very well placed to benefit from this key infrastructure, and the Group welcomes this.
