Spain announces closure of airspace to military aircraft involved in the US-Iran conflict

People’s Finance Network, March 30: On March 30, local time, the Spanish government announced that, effective immediately, it would close its airspace to all military and related support aircraft involved in the Iran-Iraq war. This decision was issued by Spanish Prime Minister Sánchez after an emergency cabinet meeting. According to a statement released by Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the scope of the airspace closure covers all foreign military crews operating bombing, reconnaissance, aerial refueling, and the transportation of war material missions. The Spanish government emphasized that this action is based on considerations of upholding international law principles, avoiding escalation of the conflict, and safeguarding national security.
