Former President Donald Trump announced that he wants major agriculture brands like John Deere, Case, and Caterpillar to reduce the costs of their tractors and equipment for farmers. Following his statement, Deere & Co shares dropped by 2%, and Case manufacturer CNH saw a 1% decline, while Caterpillar remained largely unchanged. Trump also outlined new loan guarantees for farmers and food suppliers through the U.S. Small Business Administration, updated renewable fuel standards, and stated he would seek further congressional relief for the agricultural sector.
