On March 31, SBF, the founder of FTX, posted on social media stating, "The Chief Justice of Delaware has recused himself from three cases due to alleged bias, as he was accused of liking a post on LinkedIn about the defendant losing in another case. Meanwhile, Judge Kaplan of the Southern District of New York continues to preside over my case. According to reporters, this judge has openly expressed contempt for me to the jury, and many journalists are unaware that such behavior is permitted; he has repeatedly offered pizza to jurors and arranged rides home for them, provided they reach a consensus within five hours; and joked before the verdict, ‘God knows there is enough evidence to prove fraud.’ Judge Kaplan should recuse himself from my case just as he should from President Trump’s case.’
