Does anyone still remember Davinci Jeremie? This guy from Chile simply said on YouTube in 2013: Buy Bitcoin for one dollar. Period. And of course, hardly anyone listened. Back then, he already knew what was going on – Bitcoin was around $117, and he advised his followers to think long-term. Ten years later, one Bitcoin was worth over $60,000. Davinci Jeremie’s wealth and predictions are now legendary in the crypto scene.
In his video, he explained quite directly: For the price of a lottery ticket, you can buy Bitcoin, hold it for ten years, and become a millionaire. If it goes wrong, you lose a dollar – who cares? But if I’m right, I want you to thank me later. He also explained that Bitcoin enables people to send money over the internet without intermediaries.
The crazy part: A follower later wrote that he had almost bought 2,600 Bitcoin for 10 pounds after watching Davinci Jeremie’s content. Today, no one would even want to calculate that fortune. Others now comment sarcastically: Write a story about those who bought Bitcoin at $64,000.
That shows: Davinci Jeremie’s prediction back then was not just a random forecast. The man understood the technology and had a long-term vision. Anyone who took his words seriously at the time could have changed their life. Today, the lesson is clear – sometimes the best investments are those where you’re willing to hold small amounts long-term and weather the volatility.
