I just noticed something quite interesting. Satoshi Nakamoto's, the anonymous Bitcoin creator, wealth has decreased by about $20 billion in the past few weeks. Sounds like a lot? It is. But what's more fascinating isn't the amount itself, but what it tells us about the market.

It all started when Satoshi's portfolio reached its peak in early October last year. At that time, his estimated holdings were so valuable that he would have ranked among the ten richest people in the world. With approximately 1.1 million Bitcoin, which have remained untouched in his wallets since 2009, he was virtually unstoppable at that moment. Now, after the recent market correction, his ranking has shifted somewhat. The value of his on-chain holdings now ranks around 15th worldwide, still well ahead of names like Alice Walton or Michael Bloomberg, but no longer in the top 10.

What excites me is not the volatility itself, but what it signifies. Satoshi has held the same amount of Bitcoin unchanged for over 15 years. He has never sold, never swapped, just held. And yet, his wealth fluctuates by double-digit billions. This isn't a personal decision; it's pure macroeconomic revaluation. The market is reappraising Bitcoin, and with it, Satoshi's silent holdings.

It's a real-time reminder of how powerful and simultaneously unpredictable digital assets can be. For anyone who thinks Bitcoin is just a speculative asset, this should give you pause.
