U.S. crude opens nearly 2% higher

On Tuesday in the Asia early session, international oil prices rose. WTI crude oil was up 1.89%, to $104.83 per barrel. U.S. stock index futures were slightly lower: Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 0.03%, S&P 500 futures fell 0.01%, and Nasdaq 100 futures fell 0.06%. International precious metals rose as well. Spot gold was up 0.07%, at $4514.31 per ounce; spot silver was up 0.30%, at $70.3 per ounce.
